Filip Bezzecchi auf einer Ducati hat den Großen Preis von Frankreich zum zweiten Mal in dieser Saison gewonnen. Er schlug den Sprintsieger vom Samstag, Jorge Martín aus Spanien, um 4,256 Sekunden. Der dritte Platz ging an den Franzosen Johann Zarco, was die einheimischen Fans freute. Dank dieses Ergebnisses kam Bezzecchi bis auf einen Punkt an den Tabellenführer und seinen Landsmann Francesco Bagnaia heran.
