The Silverstone roundabout lies adjacent to the A43 four-lane road linking the M1 motorway, the main artery from London, with the M40 motorway to the west. If you're travelling from the British capital, take one of these motorways and follow it to the turn-off for the A43.
Choose one of the M1 or M40 motorways. Take the exit for the A43 bypass. This will take you to the Silverstone circuit. Depending on your starting point and London's typically erratic traffic, the journey will take around 90 minutes.
Head south on the M40. Exit onto the A422 and join the A43 bypass at Brackley to reach the ring road. The journey will take about 60 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the M6 and M1 motorways. This route is particularly convenient when travelling from the airport.
