Italian Francesco Bagnaia triumphed in the Indonesian MotoGP, reclaiming his top spot in the overall standings after losing it following Saturday's sprint. He displaced Spain's Jorge Martin from the lead, who was unable to finish the race after a fall. Bagnaia secured victory with a three-tenths lead over Spain's Maverick Viñales, with Frenchman Fabio Quartararo coming in third. The Italian rider clinched his sixth win of the season despite starting from the 13th position.
