It´s not necessary to introduce Marc Márquez to die-hard MotoGP fans. He achieved his first championship title on his debut MotoGP season in 2013. After that, he added another six crowns (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019). In 2020, he had a big crash in Jerez and injured his arm. Since then, he has struggled with injuries and couldn´t fight for the title. Because of that, he made a big decision for 2024 season. After many years, he left the factory Honda team and joined Ducati. He will race for the satellite team Gresini Racing.
