In the Qatar MotoGP Grand Prix, Bagnaia made significant progress in securing his title defense. Riding for the Ducati factory team, the Italian racer clinched second place, trailing his fellow countryman Di Giannantonio, who claimed his inaugural victory in the premier class. This achievement substantially widened Bagnaia's lead at the top of the World Championship standings. However, his Spanish competitor, Jorge Martín, struggled in today's race, concluding in tenth position and trailing by 21 points.
