The Italian didn’t impress much during his rookie season in MotoGP in 2022. He only managed to score points in a handful of races and was well behind teammate Enea Bastianini. Last year was a completely different story. Di Giannantonio was scoring points regularly and even got his first MotoGP win in Qatar. He moved to Valentino Rossi's team for this season.
