Filip Bezzecchi, op een Ducati motorfiets, heeft voor de tweede keer dit seizoen de Franse Grand Prix gewonnen. Hij versloeg de sprintwinnaar van zaterdag, Jorge Martín uit Spanje, met 4,256 seconden. De derde plaats ging naar de Fransman Johann Zarco, wat de lokale fans verheugde. Dankzij dit resultaat kwam Bezzecchi binnen één punt van de leider in het kampioenschap en zijn landgenoot Francesco Bagnaia.
